Alejandro Bedoya, MID (Nantes (France) — Ligue 1)

 

Bedoya assisted on the opening score in Nantes’ 2-1 win against Lorient.

 

 

Omar Gonzalez, DEF (Pachuca (Mexico) — Liga MX)

 

 

Gonzalez started and played 68 minutes before being substituted in Pachuca’s 5-2 win versus Puebla.

 

Fabian Johnson, MID (Monchengladbach (Germany) — Bundesliga)

Johnson started in Monchengladbach’s 3-2 loss to Hamburg, scoring in the 14th minute of action.

 

 

Eric Lichaj, DEF (Nottingham Forest (England) — English Championship)

 

 

Lichaj started at right back for Nottingham Forest in their 2-0 loss to Huddersfield Town this weekend.

 

Matt Miazga, DEF (Chelsea FC (England) — Premier League)

 

The recently-added Miazga didn’t see the field in Chelsea’s 5-1 win against Newcastle. But the young American did make the roster in their mid-week clash against Paris Saint-Germain but unfortunately did not see any playing time.

 

Bobby Wood, FWD (Union Berlin (Germany) — 2 Bundesliga)

 

 

Wood started and scored for Union Berlin in their 3-0 victory over 1860 Munich.

 

DeAndre Yedlin, DEF (Sunderland (England) – Premier League – On Loan from Tottenham Hotspur

 

Started and logged 90 minutes in Sunderland’s 2-1 win against Manchester United.

 

Other Americans Abroad

 

Christian Pulisic, MID (Borussia Dortmund (Germany) — Bundesliga)

 

Pulisic, 17, logged nearly 30 minutes of action as a midfield substitution in Borussia Dortmund’s 1-0 win against Hannover.

 

Aaron Schoenfeld, FWD (Hapoel Tel Aviv (Greece) — Ligat ha’Al)

Schoenfeld started and netted the game-winning goal for Hapoel Tel Aviv in their 2-1 win over Hapoel Raanana. He’ll be reportedly called up to the Israel National Team for their March friendly against Croatia but according to reports, he will need an exemption from FIFA to play for the Israeli NT.

William Yarbrough, GK (Leon (Mexico) — Liga MX)

 

Yarbrough started and earned a clean sheet in Leon’s 1-0 win over Chivas Guadalajara.

 

Gedion Zelalem, MID (Rangers — Scottish Championship; on loan from Arsenal)

 

Zelalem was listed in the team’s 18, but didn’t play during Rangers’ 1-1 draw with Alloa.
