Here in the states, we love hearing about when our national team players perform well for their respective teams. So without further ado let’s see how some notable U.S. Players faired this past week.

Fabian Johnson – LM – Borussia Monchengladbach (Germany)

Johnson continued his run of impressive form by scoring a goal in the 55th minute in the team’s 2-2 draw against FC Augsburg.

Wood scored in the 60th minute to help Union secure a 2-1 win before being subbed off in the 80th minute.

Geoff Cameron – DEF – Stoke City (England)

Cameron played all 90 against EPL struggling side, Aston Villa in Stoke’s 2-1 victory.

DeAndre Yedlin – DEF – Sunderland (Loanee from Tottenham) – (English Premier League)

Yedlin started and played all 90 minutes at Right Back for the EPL side as the team took a 1-0 loss against West Ham.

Luis Gil – MID – Queretaro (Liga MX)

Gil played all 90 minutes against Morelia for a 1-1 draw.

Eric Lichaj – DEF – Nottingham Forrest (English Championship)

Lichaj started once again for the Championship side, but fell short in a 2-1 loss against Bristol City.

Cody Cropper – GK – MK Dons (English Championship)

We didn’t get to see any of our normal goalkeepers between the sticks this weekend but we did see 23-year-old Cropper start for MK Dons. However, Cropped let by 3 goals and MK Dons would fall 2-3 against Blackburn Rovers.
