Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson is ecstatic over the possible opportunity to help AS Roma win a Scudetto title next campaign as the Internacional goalkeeper closes in on a move to the Italian capital. The Giallorossi have not confirmed the deal yet but Alisson revealed he will be presented in Rome in July. “I have my presentation on July first,” Alisson told Globoesporte.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper’s contract at Internacional is due to run out this November. Alisson is currently preparing for Brazil’s campaign in the much-anticipated Copa America Centenario tournament.
The young goalkeeper is more excited at the possibility of playing in the UEFA Champions League. “Did I go to play in the Champions League? Yes, it’s a dream, and it’s one of the reasons I chose Roma, to play in the Champions League and the Italian league.”

“I don’t know much, I just know what everyone else knows about the city. I’m looking for information, especially from those who have already lived there. Everyone I’ve talked to speaks very well of the city, and that I and my family will adapt well.”
“Roma haven’t won the Scudetto for a long time, I hope to succeed.” The Brazilian youngster looks to potentially be selected to join the Selecao for the Copa America Centenario. The Giallorossi‘s goalkeeper that started for the Romans, Wojciech Szczeny, is on loan from Arsenal. If the rumors about Alisson joining Roma are true then the Giallorossi may most likely be “ok” with Szczeny returning to Arsenal.
