Bayern Munich Are Unstoppable

Bayern Munich
Robert Lewandowski of Munich celebrates his goal to 3-0 with Thomas Mueller, Arturo Vidal and Arjen Robben during the Bundesliga soccer match between Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany on August 14, 2015.

Bayern Munich were once again magnificent on the pitch. Two dominant wins over Arsenal in the Champions League and VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga has the Bavarian club as the favorites to win both competitions.

I’ll take it a step further and say Die Roten will secure the treble this season. That would be the second in club history. Bayern won the treble in 2013 and have the necessary talent to win it all again.

Bayern Munich along with Barcelona and Real Madrid are the odds-on favorites to lift the Champions League trophy this season. They are currently tied with Olympiacos F.C. at top of the group with 9 points in UCL and in excellent position to qualify to the next round.

The Bavarians, led by treble-winning coach Per Guardiola are in scintillating form in the Bundesliga. They have won 11 of the first 12 league games. They are unbeaten in their 12 league matches and have scored an impressive 37 goals.

The club boasts two of the best in-form strikers at the moment in Robert Lewandowski (14) and Thomas Müller (11). They have the best goalkeeper in Manuel Neuer (4 goals allowed) plus some of the best playmakers in the world like Arjen Robben.

Summer signing Douglas Costa has been the best acquisition in soccer. He has been directly involved in 9 goals in 11 Bundesliga games per Squawka. Also on-loan winger Kingsley Coman has been tremendous for the club. His excellent showings have got former club PSG second-guessing themselves over letting him leave the club. Both were included in the Bundesliga team of the week.

Keep in mind that Bayern Munich has been without star players Franck Ribéry and Mario Götze. Both playmakers are sidelined with injuries but could make their returns for the title run.

Bayern Munich is also waiting for Holger Badstuber and Javi Martinez to return to full fitness. It may take a few matches but in the end they will be ready to go and help Die Roten win their second treble this decade.

This team is absolutely loaded with talent at all positions. They posses the best coach in soccer. I would say injuries could derail their championship aspirations but the club’s depth is ridiculous. They have the makings of a dynasty on their hands.

The club just won their 1001th Bundesliga game. I have a feeling more wins and trophies are in the club’s immediate future. It’s not farfetched to believe Bayern Munich will win the treble this season.
