Liga MX: No League Play Due To Catastrophic Mexico Earthquake

As many of us were getting ready to watch Copa MX matches on Tuesday, Mexico City and surrounding areas were hit by a massive 7.1 magnitude earthquake. Many buildings were destroyed, and as of now, over 200 people have lost their lives. It was a horrifying event which will halt all Liga MX play this upcoming weekend.

Many players including Edson Álvarez and Alejandro Díaz have offered help to those in need, handing out supplies and water in Mexico City.

There are still many people missing and dozens are in need of supplies as the search for those trapped continues. Moreover, cleaning up the damage from the destruction will take weeks, if not months to complete.
