Week 17 of the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season is in the books, and the three-team race between Lucien Favre’s OGC Nice, Leonardo Jardim’s AS Monaco and Unai Emery’s Paris Saint-Germain continues. The week began with a 2-1 win for Rudi Garcia’s Olympique de Marseille against Olivier Dall’Oglio’s Dijon FCO at the Stade Gaston Gérard. Maxime Lopez (6′) and Bafetimbi Gomis (87′) scored for OM, while Dijon’s lone goal came from Mehdi Abeid in the 78th minute. Monaco routed Jocelyn Gourvennec’s Girondins de Bordeaux 4-0 at the Matmut Atlantique. Radamel Falcao scored a hat trick in the fifth, 50th and 64th minutes of play after Djibril Sidibe opened up proceedings two minutes in. Adam Ounas was sent off in the 68th minute for Bordeaux.

Gael Danic (23′) and Allan Saint-Maximin (75′) scored for Francois Ciccolini’s SC Bastia in a 2-0 shutout win over Philippe Hinschberger’s FC Metz at the Stade Armand Cesari. Over at the Stade Pierre Mauroy, Nicolas De Preville (5′) and Younousse Sankhare (38′) powered Patrick Collot?’s Lille OSC to a 2-1 win over Frederic Hantz’s Montpellier HSC. Steve Mounie scored in the 81st minute for the visitors.

Goals from Issiar Dia (29′) and Loic Puyo (63′) gave Pablo Correa’s AS Nancy Lorraine a 2-0 win over Stephane Moulin’s Angers SCO at the Stade Marcel Picot. Heavy fog in Brittany, meanwhile, forced the match between Sérgio Conceição’s FC Nantes and Patrice Garande’s SM Caen to be postponed.

Over at the Stadium Municipal, an Ola Toivonen hat trick in the eighth, 20th and 60th minuts drove Pascal Dupraz’s Toulouse FC to a 3-2 win over Bernard Casoni’s FC Lorient. Benjamin Moukandjo (27′) and Majeed Waris (89′) scored for FC Lorient. Mathieu Valbuena was the hero for Bruno Genesio’s Olympique Lyonnais in their 1-0 win over Christian Gourcuff’s Stade Rennais FC. Ramy Bensebaini was sent off for Rennes in the 74th minute of play.

Romain Hamoumia was the hero for Christophe Galtier’s AS Saint-Etienne in the 25th minute of a 1-0 win over Antoine Kombouare’s EA Guingamp at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard. And at the Parc des Princes, following goals from Wylan Cyprien (32′) and Alassane Plea (45′ + 3′), a brace from Edinson Cavani in the 46th and 77th minutes salvaged a 2-2 draw, PSG’s second straight across all competitions.
