Happy Australia Day on The Stoppage Time, powered by Azteca Soccer. This is a special live blog of the U-NITE match between Kevin Muscat‘s Melbourne Victory Football Club and Graham Arnold‘s Sydney Football Club, the world-famous Big Blue, sure to be full of goals, action and heart-stopping drama. This is the Live Blog you don’t want to miss.

“We look forward to Sydney, it’s always a really good game against them. The fans turn up in numbers because they know what’s on the line,” Victory forward Kosta Barbarouses told the media on Thursday. “Arnie (coach Graham Arnold) has them playing really tough to break down. It’s just going to come down to our quality in certain areas and how we can break them down. I think we can hurt them.”

“I’m not sure if that (record at Etihad) comes down to anything, a lot of the boys are used to playing there by now, it’s quite a big pitch, maybe it makes a difference. (The fans) know they’re going to have an exciting game on their hands (at Etihad). The boys really feel privileged having that. There are not many other teams that can go to Etihad Stadium and have those sort of numbers at the game.”
