Nike have officially launched the brand new Motion Blur pack across the online retailer and soccer store communities today to give the Nike silo’s a brand new look for spring. The vibrantly colored pack takes inspiration from a 2012 release that was extremely popular in the Clash Pack that was unveiled for the EURO 2012 tournament. An interesting thing Nike did was the revamped upper now found on the Magista Opus. Nike did the same thing to the Hypervenom last year with the Spark Brilliance pack which saw the return to the softer NikeSkin upper.
Starting off with the brand new Mercurial line up colorway update. The White/Race Pink colorway is nearly identical to the Clash Pack Mercurial. The gradual build from the back with Race Pink covering everything from the collar and most of the upper, up until the toebox where it is white. The soleplate is white with black tipped studs while the Nike swoosh and Mercurial branding are black. If you are looking for a classic mercurial colorway and one that truly fits the silo, then the Motion Blue Mercurial is for you. Neymar was seen already sporting the latest colorway before the release while on duty for Brazil.
The Hypervenom features the most color on the boot with the White/Photo Blue colorway taking a split design look. The entire outside of the boot is Photo Blue while the Instep is all White with some Photo Blue accents on the foam pods that help you gain power while striking. The collar and soleplate are Photo Blue as well. The Hypervenom is a much lighter take then the Strike Night Phantom that gave us a look at the darker side of the striking boot.
The Magista Obra features a White/Volt colorway with the colorway mainly being White. The Volt accents are near the heel in the from of some gradient stripes heading back to an all Volt heel and collar. The soleplate is a mix of Volt and White with translucent tips with Volt inside of them. The Nike swoosh is black to give some sort of contrast to the bright colorway. The Opus has finally gotten rid of the pimply looking upper that we saw on the previous Opus 2 colorways. The new upper wilth a smoother design with some similar elements of control found on the Obra. I expect the new upper to style be the famous Kangalyte upper.
The Tiempo line up receives a new colorway called White/Electro Green. The all leather upper is White with white laces with Black Nike swoosh and a black Nike branding on the tongue. The Electro Green area is found on the synthetic heel that has a Black Nike Swoosh, ACC branding and Tiempo branding in black as well. The White soleplate fades back into the Electro Green under the heel with Nike branding in black taking up the whole plate.
Nike have gone with a subtle way of saying all of their boots are white, but depending on which position you play, the color changes on the boot. Now of course we know that you can wear any boot at any position, but I just thought the colorways gave off that kind of vibe.
