Toluca vs Club América

Club América is coming off a 2-0 victory over Tigres in the CONCACAF Champions league, and they’re in a prime spot in the standings for their push in the playoffs. Toluca is not in a great spot in the standings, but they have absolutely cruised in Copa Libertadores.

This is always a classic matchup between two bitter rivals. América cannot sleep on Toluca just because of their spot in the table. Toluca have plenty of power in their attack to make Club América suffer.

Yet, América is starting to hit a good rhythm and would like to get over their loss last week to Querétaro. Either way, this is going to a fun one to watch.

Tigres vs Santos Laguna

Tigres is on the edge of the playoff spot in the standings coming in this match against Santos Laguna. It has been an underwhelming season for Tigres, the reigning champs, and they need a big result this Saturday against Santos.

Santos enter the match coming off a nice 1-0 victory over Cruz Azul, stamping their spot nicely at fifth in the table. Both of these teams are championship caliber, and that is reason enough to catch this battle.

Pachuca vs Chivas

This is the matchup of the weekend: Pachuca vs Chivas. Two teams that have exceeded expectations and have shown they are not to be taken lightly.

Pachuca is sitting nicely at third in the table, but Chivas has quietly snuck into the 7th spot and is only separated with Pachuca by four points. These two are going to be playing under the Saturday night lights, and if there was a match to highlight the weekend, it’s this one.

Two powerful offensive teams are going to flex their muscles while hoping to catch fire heading into the playoff picture.
